Megapari Advancebet

Advancebet, is available to customers who have unsettled bets in their accounts. Below, we try to explain how it works in the example below.

Example:

Your account balance is 22620 KES. You have placed the following bets:

• 8700 KES at odds of 1.5 — potential returns are 13050 KES.
• 13050 KES at odds of 2 – potential returns are 26100 KES.

Now your available balance is 870 KES

We offer you an Advancebet of 8700 KES. Now you are able to place bets to a total stake value of 9570 KES.

You then place a bet of 2610 KES (870 KES of your available balance and 1740 KES of the Advancebet amount) at odds of 1.5. The potential returns are 3915 KES.

You also place a bet of 4350 KES (from your Advancebet balance) at odds of 2. The potential returns are 8700 KES.

Let’s consider 3 possible outcomes:

1. Bets placed using Advancebets have won. Expected payouts are 3915 KES and 8700 KES. Bets placed with your own funds have lost. Bets placed with Advancebets will therefore be deemed void. Your own 870 KES that formed part of your Advancebet stake will be refunded to your account.
2. Bets placed with Advancebets have lost. Bets placed with your own funds have won. The payout is (13050+26100) = 39150 KES. 4350 KES and 1740 KES were used as Advancebets (plus 870 KES of your own funds). The amount of the Advancebets will be deducted from the payout (13050+26100)-4350-1740 =33060 KES. Therefore, 33060 KES will be credited to your account.
3. Bets placed using Advancebets have lost. Bets placed with your own funds have lost. In this case, bets placed as Advancebets will be void. Your own 870 KES that formed part of your Advancebet stake will be lost.

Megapari Bet Insurance

Any customer can insure their bet in full or in part.

Insurance is a paid-for service. The cost of insurance depends on the current odds of the event to be insured.

Insurance can be bought for single and accumulator bets. You cannot use insurance for other types of bets.

If a bet loses, the insured part of the bet will be refunded.

• Example: A 300 KES bet was placed at odds of 1.8. You want to insure 100% of the bet. The company offers insurance at the price of 590 KES. If you agree, your account will be debited for 590 KES.
• If the bet wins, the total amount of 2130 KES is paid to you in full.
• If the bet loses, 300 KES is paid to you because the full stake amount was insured (300 KES).

Several insurances can be bought for the same bet.

• For example, a customer can first insure 10%, then 30%, then another 50%. Note that the insurance price can change in accordance with the current odds changes.
• The total amount of all bought insurances cannot exceed 100% of the bet.
